I feel like this post should come with a disclaimer: It’s going to be MEGA LONG! Bridget and Scott’s wedding day was just perfect! This is quite obvious, but Bridget and Scott are quite a dashing couple. Their outward beauty is apparent, but it’s their personalities that truly shine. This couple was so giddy and happy the entire day. It’s hard not to be enamored with such a gleeful pair. It’s clear that their family and friends share the same traits. Everyone was so happy and welcoming and the entire day was just fun. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day.

There is something so special about a destination wedding. It’s different than a typical wedding because the setting is usually more intimate and I really get to know the closest family and friends of the bride and groom. I got to spend several days with Sarah & Allen and their guests and I had so much fun. I especially love Sarah. Allen is great too (!!) but Sarah and are two of a kind. I think if I were to redo my own wedding, it would pretty much look like Sarah & Allen’s. I happen to think Sarah has exquisite taste! :) Sarah is a really talented graphic designer and designed all the stationery and planned all the gorgeous details for this celebration. She even bought a letterpress and handmade the invitations and menus along with her dedicated friends. Not to be overshadowed by the details, this wedding was even more so a celebration of Sarah & Allen finally making it to the altar. She and Allen have been together for nearly 10 years, so the wedding just further confirmed the commitment they’ve made to each other years ago. Allen surprised everyone by getting very emotional while reciting his personally written vows to Sarah. It was a beautiful moment!

I’ve know Molly since she was a little girl (I guess I was little too!). We grew up in a small town and our families attended the same church. In high school, Molly was an exceptional athlete and played on the varsity tennis team as a freshman, when I was a senior. Years later, Molly contacted me after her and Spencer got engaged, not realizing that I was Laura from Belle Plaine, Minnesota. (After all, I have now have a new last name since my high school days!) We eventually discovered we knew each other and laughed about what a small world it is. Molly and Spencer are both doctors and spent time apart while Molly finished medical school, before learning that they will both be completing their residencies in North Carolina, starting their married life together. Because of distance, I wasn’t able to meet them until a few weeks before the wedding, but I was immediately felt at ease. I know I say this about all my clients, but Molly and Spencer and their friends and family, welcomed me and treated me as a friend. They made me laugh. Despite the cold and rain, it was a joyous day. Such amazing people to be around and I am so honored and thrilled to have documented their wedding day. Such big hearts. I hope you enjoy a small peek into their love filled wedding day.
