Laura & Daniel braved the blistering heat for their engagement session. They will be married in just a couple short weeks at Temple Israel, and are hosting a reception at The Walker Art Center. I can’t wait to see what Whitney captures!

Sarah & Ethan are two incredibly special people. On their own, they are incredibly giving, fun, full of life, and just radiate with happiness. But together, it’s something super special. Out of this world, really. They are the kind of couple that inspire love in other people. Make you want to squeeze your significant other just a little bit tighter. I really can’t even begin to describe how much I love this couple and how happy they make me (and presumably everyone around them!). I am beyond excited for their wedding day!

Meet Kerry & Eric! In a crazy round-about way, we came to discover Kerry went to high school with an amazing planner I’ve worked with out in New York City (who is originally from Minnesota). I swear it’s such a small world! From the moment Whitney and I met Kerry & Eric over a glass of wine, I knew they would be amazing to work with and I knew our styles just fit. Whitney photographed this fun, summery engagement and will be capturing their winter soiree in December! Can’t wait!

I don’t recall exactly how this session came about, but Gina & I chatted about capturing a session on film; documenting her and her husband as they are, right now. Gina is a photographer (an amazingly talented photographer) and travels a lot, not only for her photography work, but also inspiring people around the country. Matt is busy too; involved in his community, as a teacher and training for a half marathon with Gina by his side. Since downtime is rare for this couple, they try to spend weekend mornings together when they can, making breakfast (Matt flipping pancakes!), lounging in their PJs and hanging out with their pup, Mya. All creative credit to this session is completely due to Gina’s brilliant ideas and planning. I was so happy to be a part of this shoot and document the laughter, smiles and hugs (and body slams). Not to mention their beautiful, airy home. Hello, can I move in?!
