I love this couple and I loved their session! We had so much fun out at my grandparent’s farm in rural Le Center, MN, and I loved the cool props that Kelsy & Butch brought along. They incorporated things they love doing together like drinking wine and Kelsy’s super fun vintage-replica bicycle. K&B are actually super awesome wedding photographers based out of Wisconsin, so we had to get some shots with their cameras too!

I met Jess + Zach at my past clients, Emily and Ian’s wedding in 2008. It was at their wedding that Jess and I discovered we had a connection from ~2 decades ago. Check out the engagement post to read the story.
I am so lucky to photograph fabulous couples like J+Z. Their wedding was so gorgeous and even more importantly, J+Z are just so head-over-heels in love! Seriously, these two are so darn cute together. I think I love J+Z so much because they remind me of my husband and I. Not only in how they interact, but J+Z call each other Muffin, while my husband and I call each other Pie. Sickeningly cute, no? :-) At the wedding I also got to see Down and Above perform again, which was completely awesome. Very talented group!

Jolene and Dan were married on Jolene’s beautiful family farm in Little Falls, Minnesota. It’s so refreshing to get out of the Twin Cities every now and then, and J+D’s wedding was absolutely perfect. I loved all the little details and rustic touches that came together to create a beautiful celebration. J+D did much of the work, including spray painting the ENTIRE interior of the barn! The result was completely worth it!

This wedding seriously paints a picture of my ideal wedding. The pictures are AWESOME, by the way. And I was also wondering where this took place. My fiancee and I are still looking for a reception site…we’re thinking rustic/barn/farm/tent on the edges of the twin cities, ideally with real bathrooms. But I am definitely bookmarking this page.
