Bridget & Mike | New York City Engagement

Bridget and Mike got engaged on the steps of the Lincoln Center when Mike surprised Bridget on a whirlwind weekend getaway, so it only seemed fitting to have their engagement session in the city that holds so many special memories for them. You  might not be able to tell from these photos, but we experienced the wackiest weather ever on the day of their session. It downpoured all morning, causing us to postpone until the afternoon. Then we we did start shooting, the temps were soaring and the humidity must’ve been about 99.99%. THEN, as we finished our session on the Brooklyn Bridge, a storm quickly rolled in and tornados touched down in Brooklyn. Literally. We scampered off the bridge to run for cover and the very second we found shelter, the downpours started again. So, it’s safe to say that Bridget and Mike are total troopers and up for anything!  In between location, weather and wardrobe changes, we stopped for drinks in an air conditioned dive bar we happened upon in the West Village (we had to, it was seriously so hot!) and later, we enjoyed cupcakes! Bridget and Mike, I can’t wait for your wedding next spring!
